💛Introduction

What a time—what. a. time!
I truly feel like I’m in a season of arising and going… and honestly, that feels like an understatement.

There are moments when I know I have no choice but to give it all to God—and really, what other option is there? Life has felt far too heavy to carry on my own lately. It’s obvious we’ve got things moving all around us—some for good, some not—and we have to stay sharp, because sometimes they can look an awful lot alike. Isn’t that something?

I originally wrote this post back in January of 2025, which means we are getting so close to the end of this mission—going back, rereading, and resharing all my old writing. I can feel it—just a handful left to go!

Arise and Go

Have you ever felt the walls closing in?
Like you’re buried under a thousand pounds of “too much”?
Yeah… me too.

But here’s the thing—
It doesn’t last forever.
Even the hardest seasons come with an expiration date.

Pain presses.
Grief burns.
Confusion tangles the mind like Christmas lights in July.
Still—God doesn’t waste a single knot.

I’ve cried out in silence,
Wondering where He was hiding…
Only to find Him sitting with me
in the middle of my mess,
quiet and patient.

Healing isn’t always loud.
Sometimes, it’s just breathing again
after you forgot how.

Like Spider-Man after the bite,
I didn’t ask for the side effects.
But now?
Now I see the strength it gave me.

No, I’m not swinging from buildings,
but I’m climbing out of pits
I used to live in.

I’ve seen church folk who wear perfection like perfume,
but I’ve learned—
Faith isn’t about looking right,
it’s about living real.

We’re all cracked vessels.
But cracks let the light through.

I used to try to control every inch of life—
Now I know better.
I plant seeds,
I water what I can,
and I trust God for the harvest.

Testimony starts in the pit
but points toward the sky.

So here’s to the first brave step,
to calling out what’s been buried,
and walking into the light,
even if it’s just a flicker.

Don’t wait for perfect.
Start with honest.
Then…
Arise and go.

The Power of Your Testimony

Truthfully, trials are not fun.
They’re messy, draining, sometimes downright brutal. But when we look back, they shape us. They tell a story, our story. They become the foundation for the things we once thought would break us.

Have you ever felt like you couldn’t breathe under the weight of it all? Same here! But the good news is this: it doesn’t last forever. Everything we go through, even the hard stuff, can be used for good. It becomes part of our testimony—a living, breathing example of God’s faithfulness.

The real beauty? God never wastes a single tear.
He uses every setback, every heartbreak, every messy part of our story to refine us. He is so good!
