The Calling Behind These Words

Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. -Habakkuk 2:2

Sometimes the words the Lord places on our hearts aren’t meant to stay hidden. They have to be shared, woven in the hearts of others, stitched onto paper, and carried across the world in ways we can’t even imagine. That’s why this little corner of the internet means so much to me. What began as a simple place to journal my cries, try my hand at this writing business, and express myself has grown into something so much more.

I think of Psalm 5:9–11 and the hope found in David’s morning prayer to the Lord. David trusts that God will hear his voice, and he has no doubt of this. He lays his requests before the Lord and waits expectantly for Him to answer. He takes refuge in the Lord with joy and gladness. David even asks that those who love the Lord would ever sing for joy, that God’s love would protect the ones who honor His name, and that they would rejoice in Him. And it is this very posture that helps him expose the pain, the darkness, and the arrogant, while still standing strong with the Lord. This is very much the process of my writing.

A Milestone Only God Could Shape

fabricthatmademe.com anniversary post

Eight years. That’s how long the Lord has allowed me to write here; to share the stories He’s placed on my heart. When that little WordPress anniversary badge popped up today, it reminded me of how far this space has come and how faithfully God has carried every word, every story, and every reader who has walked through these pages with me.

What started as a quiet place to pour out my prayers has grown into a home for testimonies, real struggles, small victories, faith lessons, and the deep mysteries that God still lets us uncover little by little. And as this blog enters another year, I feel something new stirring. A pulling toward stories rooted in real life and real history. Events that were never fully explained. Moments that shook the world and still ripple through it today. Stories of people caught in the unknown. Truths waiting to be uncovered. And through it all, Jesus remains the thread that holds every story together.

Some of the writing projects coming soon include:

• historical events that were never fully explained
• stories tucked in the shadows that shaped nations, families, and faith
• unsolved questions that still influence us
• testimonies of God working in places most people never think to look
• more from The Long Road Home series and Truth Revealed- because I haven’t forgotten!

Why Your Subscription Matters More Than You Know

Before I close, I want to say something that is sometimes hard for writers to admit out loud, but it’s the truth of how this ministry grows.

Every time you subscribe, like a post, comment, or share something from this blog, you are helping carry these testimonies farther than I ever can on my own. These words are meant to be read, not hidden. They are meant to land in the hands of people who are hurting, searching, confused, or needing a reminder that God still speaks. And the truth is, this only happens when you help carry the message. I need your help!

When you share a post, forward my site, or send one of these writings to someone who needs it, you are doing more than boosting a number on a screen. You’re helping create connection. You’re building community. You’re helping bring Jesus into places I could never reach by myself.

Your subscription isn’t just an email slot filled. It’s a yes.
A yes to being part of something God is stitching together.
A yes to spreading light instead of silence.
A yes to helping this ministry stay visible so the words can find the people who need them.

These posts are testimonies. They heal because they’re honest. They connect because they’re real. They matter because Jesus is in every single one. But none of it can live, breathe, or move without people like you helping lift it beyond this little corner of the internet.

So when you subscribe, when you share, when you talk about a post or pass along my site, you’re not just supporting me. You’re spreading hope. You’re planting seeds. You’re participating in the bigger picture; Jesus is in these “pages”.

And the bigger picture will always be Jesus first.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. Thank you for walking alongside me as this ministry, this writing journey grows in every direction He leads.

Woven in the Fabric.

10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. –1 Peter 4:10-11
