The Long Way Home | Truth Revealed
He rode in wearing borrowed boots,
a hat to hide his name,
spoke soft of trust and brotherhood,
but played a crooked game.
He promised hope, he promised gain,
but led us through the dust.
Each mile we walked beneath his word
was built on rot and rust.
He changed his face to fit the land,
the fake cowboy from the cold,
a ghost from far Connecticut
with stories bought and sold.
He talks of wealth and honest days,
but truth won’t let him lie,
a failed garage back home still haunts
the man he tries to hide.
His tongue could charm the weary soul,
his smile a practiced art,
but all he sought was selfish gain,
a thief with no true heart.
He hides behind the desert wind,
pretends that God won’t see.
But you can’t hide the things you’ve done,
only the truth will set them free.
For every shadow finds the sun,
each mask will meet its flame.
God’s wrath will hunt the wicked down,
HIS hand will guide my way.
So let him chase his fleeting gain,
the fire he can’t control.
For every lie will meet its end,
and Heaven knows the soul.
The long way home was rough with sand,
but faith lit up my track.
The dark can run, but we will stand,
for God has our back.

Woven in Fabric
There’s power in walking through the fire and knowing Who walks beside you.
God’s justice is not delayed, and His grace is never wasted.
He covers us in truth, clothes us in His armor, and fights battles we’ll never see.
Every lie, every shadow, every crooked road — all bow to His glory in the end.
That’s the promise, the protection, and the peace that holds us.
Stay covered in His light and keep walking in truth — He’s already gone before you.
