The One My Soul Loves
In the hush of morning’s golden light,
Where dew still clings and birds take flight,
I find You, Lord, in all I see—
In whispered winds and blooming tree.
But more than that, You gave me him—
A steady heart when days grow dim.
A soul that walks this path with mine,
Ordained by grace, Your grand design.
We laugh through storms, we dance through days,
We build a life in love and praise.
Each shared breath, a sacred song,
A rhythm where we both belong.
You are the painter of the skies,
The spark behind my lover’s eyes.
Through him, I glimpse Your perfect grace,
In every smile, each warm embrace.
Together, we give thanks each day—
For love that time cannot betray.
For earth and heaven, hand in hand,
And blessings we can’t understand.
We worship not with words alone,
But in this life that we have grown.
A holy bond, a gift so true—
My heart is his… because of You.
