Daily writing prompt
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
.

Note:

This piece began as a simple daily writing prompt back in 2023—but as the words poured out, it quickly became something much more profound. It touched my heart in a way I didn’t expect! Its message still resonates just as strongly today. I’m honored to share it again, unchanged, because the meaning remains the same: Look up and praise the One who created the moon and the stars—for He also created you and knows you by name. May this reflection encourage you to lift your eyes and see His glory all around you!

Look Up: The Wonder Above

Look Up: The Wonder Above

Since I was a child, I’ve had a deep and unshakable obsession with the sky. There’s something about the vastness above us—the moon in her quiet watch, the stars in their endless shimmer, the sun in all its fiery strength—that stirs something in my soul. Add to that the wind, the rain, and the gentle hush of falling snow… it’s nothing short of divine.

Each piece of the atmosphere feels like God’s artwork. The way it moves, glows, and shifts—it’s His whisper, calling us to look up and remember that we are part of something far greater.

I can’t help but think that when I see images of outer space, I’m catching glimpses of paradise. There’s a light out there—a godly light—that pulls at my spirit. It reminds me that the heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies proclaim the work of His hands (Psalm 19:1). These galaxies, I believe, hold stories written by the Creator Himself. One day, I trust we’ll see and understand them in full.

But for now, I think He’s asking us to simply look up. To stop getting lost in the noise, the chaos, the battles we convince ourselves are worth fighting. He’s calling us to turn our gaze heavenward.

“Turn to Me,” He says. “I am the way.”

He’s always been there—in the stars, the silence, the beauty. We just need to lift our eyes.
