Shadows People
That ghostly moment you realize that shadow isn’t yours. cartakerparanormal.wixsite.com

Part I: The Stirring
I see you here. I see you there.
You haunt the silence—thin as air.
You linger just beyond my gaze,
In shadowed corners, in smoky haze. They slip like whispers through the night,
Skelly
Dancing just beyond the light.
Though sight denies what senses find,
A spectral chill invades my mind.

Part II: The Presence
Phantom spirit, cloaked in gloom,
You claim the corners of this room.
Long before my eyes can see,
You wrap the air in mystery.
A silhouette—there—then gone,
But your impression lingers on.
The air is thick, the current hums,
A warning: something wicked comes.
You watch, you wait—too near, too far—
A glint behind the closet jar.
You slip through walls and hover high,
An echo of a breathless sigh.
You peer into my sleeping mind,
Unbidden, cruel, and unrefined.
You haunt the halls, the stair, the bed,
A ghost that grins where mortals dread.
Possessor of the in-between,
Where waking ends and dreams convene.
You reach with fingers made of mist,
And steal the warmth from every kiss.
You think you move unseen, unheard—
But I have caught your every word.
You pace the dark, you stalk the air,
And still—I see you everywhere.
I see you here. I see you there.
And I, too, hide in plain despair.
