Following His Lead…
Sometimes decision-making is well thought out and carefully planned. Other times, it happens in the snap of a finger. It’s that knowing in your heart, that gut pull that moves you – the quiet certainty that it’s time to jump. Sometimes it’s a small step in a direction you never expected, and other times it’s a massive leap. Maybe it leads to both. Either way, it’s all about hope and faith.
It starts with a conversation – the kind that pushes you to get in the car and go. To save what’s been drained and emptied of hope, faith, joy, and love. To remember what it’s all about. From that comes determination and a kind of restoration that runs deep – a love that wakes something in your core. Because when you unite, you’re so much stronger. Three strands are always stronger than one.
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” -Ecclesiastes 4:12
Do I know where this will take us? No. But do I know that one crying-out-from-the-heart conversation that led us back to the wilderness, was the right thing to do? Yes, I know it was the right thing to do.
I felt it in the healing of my own body and in my soul – but even more in his. The glossy eyes, the embrace, the fiery passion. That 3 a.m., pen-to-paper, getting-stuff-done kind of drive I remember so well – that’s what I’m talking about! You don’t try to keep up with anyone; we’re the ones people try to keep up with. You don’t give in or show out for anyone. No. You are one of God’s people. You speak clearly and walk confidently, because no agreement is needed when you are His.
Sometimes you just need a little reminder of who the hell you are. You are one of God’s people – don’t forget it. Humbled and grateful to the Lord for it all. The storm isn’t here to destroy you; it’s just clearing a path.

Woven in the Fabric
This is where it all ties together. Every story, every lesson, every journey leads back to Him. Here, I share pieces of the path, but the glory and the praise always belong to Jesus. May every word, every post, and every return visit draw you closer to Him, because the ultimate goal will always be Jesus. Gratitude, praise, and purpose – all woven in His fabric. -Skelly
