Sunshine

I see Your face.
I feel Your warmth—
a love that wraps around me,
soft and strong.
In Your presence,
I am safe.
You heal my demons,
chase the dark away.

Joy is restored
to my weary heart.
Yet when I look too long
into Your brilliance,
tears rise—
not from pain,
but awe.

If only I could return
what You so freely give—
a love so deep,
a light so bright,
a grace so wide.
But I’m only human,
grateful and small.
Still, I offer all I am.

You are mighty to save.
Scatter Your light
over my life—
forever.
