Sweet Dreamland

In dreams’ embrace, I woke with delight—
A world spun in candy, kissed by light.
Gumdrops gleamed in the morning air,
With rose and clematis blooming fair.

No cotton pillow beneath my head,
But grass like sugar, soft and spread.
Clouds of marshmallow drifted by,
With licorice vines that reached the sky.

Lollipops bloomed in fields of green,
And jellybean trails sparkled between.
A peppermint breeze hummed through the trees,
Carrying laughter on taffy-sweet seas.

Here in this realm where wonder flows,
Between the waking and soft sighs—
I drift, I dream, I softly roam,
And in this stillness, I’ve found home.
