Going through some of the awards that I have gotten over the past years, I wanted to keep and re-share this one. The reason being is because of the awesome person who gave me this award to me https://rachealnovel.wordpress.com/.

She has a great blog and although over the past few years, we may have drifted apart a bit, I still will find myself remember her encouraging words in some of my hardest times. It was her prays, her sweet encouragements that keep me believing in a little blog with no following and in myself.

It’s not about the amount of people who follows my blog, it’s about what this blog does for my heart, what this writing community has done for my soul.

What to do with an old Blog ?| Keeping a fresh Blog

I received this award back in September of 2018. I had been writing for a few months but I was terrible really. The writing felt great for my soul and was therapy that I didn’t even know it at the time. There were so many times, I wanted to give up on fabricthatmademe.com and felt like a failure but it was the love and support of this writing community that kept me going. I’m so thankful for that!

This was a huge surprise! I am so honored! I can’t tell you how much this means to someone like me as a new writer. I have a small, unknown blog with a tiny following, so to get recognized at all is shocking! I’m so thankful for this…really…thank you!

Okay! Let’s get down to business! (When 2018) I was nominated by the wonderfully talented Racheal’s Novels.  I kept up on every blog that I followed in the being but we all know that is an impossible task! I do my best but if you get a chance check Racheal’s Novels out for sure! It’ll be worth it! She’s an amazing person and her blog is great!

Thank you so very much for nominating me! Again,I am so humbled and thankful for every award, the mentioning of my beloved blog and all the love! What an honor! Thank you always!

So this is how this works ( I think)

Rules

Rules #1: Tag the person who nominated you.

Rules #2: Copy the “Awesome Impact Award” into your WordPress media and insert it in your post

Rules #3: Talk about an incident that impacted your life in a really positive way

Rules #4: Finally, nominate 10 other bloggers for the award

The incidents that impacted my life in a really positive way?

Moving away from Colorado was hands down the most positive thing that ever happen to me. I was in a very negative situation where I live there. Once I moved away was I free to really live my best life and discover who I really am. I love myself…all of me. I didn’t have to worry about any more judgments from others or people influencing my choices. Being away from Colorado, I have really grown into my own person! I have never been freer! I would have never started to write and I am meant to write! I am free to be the Mom, the wife, the daughter, sister and just freaking human-being I want to be now! I feel blessed! God is so good! I am so thankful for my faith and His plans for me!

I have to include giving my life to Christ because without Christ, I can do nothing but with Him I can do anything. All the Glory goes to God! I am nothing without His Mercy and Grace over my life.

Update| 2020

I am so glad I was able to reread this. I remember when I first left Colorado I had no support from my family at all. I felt this sadness and I was let down by them. But I was I also had this new freedom to do be me… that freedom didn’t last long for me.

All the worry and judgments, I thought I had escaped, I grabbed and made part of my life again. It has been quite a journey for me and this little blog.

My TEN (but I’m going to 5 because like damn 10 is a lot) other bloggers to be nominated are…drumroll…please….

Crushed Carmel

The Eclectic Contrarian

Finally Unchained

Parallax

Jessy-FAB Faith and Books

Again, thank you so much to Racheal’s Novels…I am truly honored!
